If you'd like to see whiplash in motion, try listening to a few of the pre-campaign rhetoric. It can be really remarkable, if only it were genuine. For instance, Newt Gingrich at the time said he endorsed an individual mandate for health reform. He dropped that position after the HillaryCare debates in the 1990s. Curiously sufficient, Obama chosen up that same position and ran with it. Seem what we don't have now. mike kelley
